Creating your own set-top box

If your television cannot scan Antenna and Cable at the same time, does
not have QAM and does not have the  Add-on option available, then you
can create a set-top by using your DVD , VCR or DVR

  Here are the steps :

1 - Connect a 1x2 Splitter to your incoming Coax wire.

2 - Take a piece of Coax Cable and attach it to your television from the Splitter.

3 - Take a piece of Coax Cable and attach it to your DVD or VCR.

4 - Use RCA cables (Red,Yellow,White) to connect the DVD or VCR to the red, yellow,

white connectors on your television.

5 - Use your television remote control to scan in the Antenna Channels. This will pick

up the HU Digital and HD Channels.

6 - Use your DVD or VCR remote to scan Channels. This scan will pick up all the HU

Analog Channels currently broadcast by HU less the Digital and HD.
