This television includes NTSC/ATSC/QAM Tuners. The television scans Antenna Analog and Digital. This television also provides an option called ADD-ON search will allows the addition of Cable Channels.

SHARP_LC7D62U

This television is capable of scanning both NTSC and ATSC channels. Toswitch modes between Antenna and Cable the user must use the TV remote and choose MENU. The television does not require re scanning of channels when switching modes.

PHILLIPS_19FPFL5422D/27

This television has an ANALOG (NTSC) Digital (ATSC) and QAM tuner. The television allows the scanning of antenna or cable. The Add-on function will allow the addition of cable channels to be added to the analog scan list.

PANASONIC_TC-32LX60

This television requires assistance to receive the HU Analog, Digital and HD service. Follow the instructions in the HU FAQ to setup a VCR or DVD player to act as a second tuner. This television will scan either Antenna orCable but not both simultaneously.

PIONEER_PDP-4271

This television has two RF Input connectors. One is labeled Ant/Cable  for - ATSC scanning - which is Digital and the other labeled as NTSC for  Analog scanning. The remote control provides the capability of switching  modes allowing the use of both the ATSC and NTSC scanning modes.No re scanning is necessary to access the HU channels.

This model has 2 RF ports.  To scan digital and cable channels at the same  time press Menu and then All Channel Search.  To switch between analog and  digital press the Tuner button on the remote.  The only drawback to this model  is that there is not a dot or dash button on the remote.  When in digital mode to tune to 6.1 you must press 06 and the TV tunes to 6.1.

SONY_BRAVIA_KDL-40S2000

The Sony Bravia, model number  KDL-40S2000.  This TV has only 1 RF input.  To setup TV for both analog and digital channels you must first press menu on the remote, select Settings, select the 4^th icon (looks like a filing cabinet), select Cable and then select On.  Go back to Settings and select Autoprogram, this will scan analog cable channels.  The same procedure is used for digital only his time select Off on the cable setting.  Go back to settings and select Autoprogram, this will now scan digital off-air channels.  The TV will now remember both analog and digital channels.  To view digital channels set Cable to Off and press the Analog/Digital button on the remote.  To view analog channels set Cable to On and press the Analog/Digital button on the remote

INSIGNIA_NS-32 LCD

This model has 1 RF port.  To scan digital channels press Menu Setup and Tuning Band and select Air.  Scroll down and select Auto Program.  To scan analogs press Menu Setup andTuning Band and select Cable.  Scroll down and select Auto Program.  Once both are scanned  t he TV retains both scans. To switch between analog you must press Menu Setup and Tuning Band from there you can choose which tuner to use (cable for analog or air for digital)without rescanning.  Unfortunately there is not a button on the remote to switch between tuners.

To access digital channels go to Setup, Scan Channels, Select Antennae and then Scan.  This will memorize the available digital channels.  To switch between digital and analog channels simply press the ANT button on the remote.

Dell Model #W3706MC

To access digital channels go to Setup, Select Antennae and then scan.  To switch between digital and analog simply tune the channel number you want to view.

Sony Trinitron Flat Screen CRT

Sony Trinitron Flat Screen CRT.  This model does not have an ATSC tuner and needs an external ATSC tuner to view digital channels.

ViewSonic Model#VS1177101M

ViewSonic Model #VS11771-1M  Scan cable channels, then scan Air channels.  To toggle between air and cable press the TV/CATV button on the remote

JVC

JVC,  Auto program Cable channels and then Auto program Air channels.  Use the D/A button on the remote to switch between digital air and analog cable modes.  To tune directly to a digital air channel press the channel number then press the Sub channel button and then press the sub channel number.  Example: To tune to HD channel 6 press the 6 then the sub channel button then 1.

Vizio Model # VX32LHDTV10A

Vizio Model #VX32LHDTV10A  This model has 1 RF port.  Scan cable and then antenna.  You need to go into the menu to switch between digital (off air)  and analog (cable)

Sony Wega Model #KDF50WE655

Sony Wega Model #KDF50WE655, this model has 2 RF inputs so both of them need to be connected to coax source via a 1x2 splitter, Scan TV in Cable Mode for analog cable channels and Scan TV in Antenna Mode for HD Digital channels, use the ANT button on the remote to switch between analog and digital the TV will remember both scans.

Sony Bravia Model #KDL-52W3000

Sony Bravia Model #KDL-52W3000.  After initial setup Press Home on remote, on screen Select Channel then Select Cable and turn it off then Select Channel again then Select Add Digital Channels, then Select Scan.  To view analog cable channels Cable must be turned on in on screen menu.  To view HD digitals Cable must be turned off in on screen menu.  There is not a short cut to doing this you must go into the on screen menu each time to switch between tuners.

HDTV.  Sony KDS-50A2000.  Press HOME on remote and Select Antenna.  Press HOME again and Select Settings, then Select Channel, then Select Auto Program and then Select Start.  This will scan in digital HD channels.  To scan cable channels Press HOME and Select Cable and follow the same procedure as for Antenna.  To switch between cable and antenna Press HOME and either Cable or Antenna
