Photos: Sacony Trail Weed Removal

Volunteers removed 33 trash bags of garlic mustard along the Sacony Trail in Kutztown. Garlic mustard is an invasive plant that may outcompete native wildflowers and plants. This invasive plant removal event was organized by the Kutztown Environmental Advisory Commission (EAC) and the Maiden Creek Watershed Association. Volunteers included: Elaine Bartholomew, Jacob Charlton, Shannon Crooker, Travis Kern, Jim Rasmussen, Steve Schnell, Lisa Schnell, Marina Schnell, Fiora Schnell, Jessica Schulte, Todd Underwood, Robyn Underwood, Sadie Underwood, Cassie Underwood, and Lyndsey Weaknecht.
