REPLACEMENT OF THE STORM LINES AND REPAVING THE INTERSECTION OF S. MAPLE STREET AT JAMES ALLEY:
This work is expected to last approximately five weeks. During this period, S. Maple Street will be closed from E. Main Street to just past James Street. Access will be limited at times on James Street.
6/30/2026: PADEP has elevated Berks County from a Drought Watch to a Drought Warning. A voluntary water use reduction of 10-15% for all residents has been issued. Please keep all water usage to essential uses when possible, and limit activities such as watering lawns and gardens or washing cars.
