Starting on April 6, 2026, fees for Home Net Internet in-home troubleshooting will be implemented, as follows, based on the Borough of Kutztown’s approved Labor and Equipment Rates:
During business hours, at the technician’s discretion, a fee of $27.00 will be charged if a problem is determined to be on the customer side, such as a faulty router, and there will be no fee if the problem is determined to be on the Home Net side.
After business hours, and if a customer cannot wait for service until the next business day, a minimum fee of $56.00 will be charged for the initial visit up to one hour. After the first hour, a $28.00 half hour fee or a $56.00 per additional hour fee will be charged.
Please note that if there is a system-wide outage, affecting all Home Net Internet customers, no fees will apply.
