Important Notice Regarding Delinquent Accounts
Please be advised that the Borough of Kutztown uses a collection agency in an effort to collect delinquent outstanding balances older than 60 days. This agency pursues collections of any outstanding debt to the Borough, including utilities and miscellaneous invoices for services rendered by the Borough of Kutztown.
If you finalize your utility account with the Borough, and an outstanding balance remains unpaid, the collection agency will reach out to you, via phone calls and/or letters, to make payment arrangements with you. If the collection agency is unable to reach you, or if the arrangement is not followed through, your credit will be affected.
If you have an outstanding miscellaneous invoice (Examples: extra refuse collection and sidewalk repair) for more than 60 days, the collection agency will reach out to you as described above.
