10/28/24: BURNING BAN EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. Due to the lack of precipitation in the area, the Borough is implementing a burning ban immediately.
10/28/24: NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY WATER CONSERVATION: Due to a lack of precipitation over the last few months, the Borough of Kutztown Water Department is issuing a Voluntary Conservation Notice for the Borough of Kutztown and Kutztown Municipal Authority service areas. A voluntary 10% -15% water use restriction is requested at this time, and the following are prohibited: watering of lawns and outdoor areas; watering golf courses; washing vehicles, paved surfaces or other outdoor areas; filling or topping off pools; or any act of wasting water.
